Transition Buxton CIC is funded almost entirely through the generosity of our community and Members donations.

We aim to keep our costs to a minimum, so all the work we do is on a completely voluntary basis.  We don’t make a charge for our events so as  to be accessible to everyone regardless of means.  Inevitably though, we do incur costs – hosting of the website, hire of rooms and equipment, insurance, , materials for workshops, and so on.  We try to ensure that events and activities cover their own costs, through donations, but that isn’t always possible.

We also apply for and accept grant funds for specific projects..
