Sadly the Terracycle scheme that our ‘Hard to Recycle’ bins are part of has announced that they can no longer accept plastic writing implements, so unfortunately we will no longer be able to accept them.
This is in addition to other recent changes including the big change just a few weeks ago to stop taking crisp packets – they go in the supermarket soft plastic recycling now.
New labels will appear on the bins over the next week or so, but please note these changes from now and recycle these things via other routes.
